FAQ
- Is this legal advice?
- No. Mister AMS is educational. It does not create an attorney–client relationship, and nothing on the site is tailored to your specific facts. For anything fact-specific, consult a licensed professional in your jurisdiction.
- Is this tax advice?
- No. Mister AMS explains tax concepts in educational terms and cites IRS publications and primary sources. It is not a substitute for a CPA, enrolled agent, or tax attorney for decisions on your actual return.
- Which states are covered?
- Federal + Virginia + West Virginia + Alabama at launch. Other states will be added over time. Content that varies by state is always labeled.
- What does the DIY-tier badge mean?
- Every option in the Organize library carries a badge: 🟢 DIY-doable, 🟡 possible-but-risky, or 🔴 attorney-required. The goal is a clear, honest signal about where self-service stops being safe.
- What is BYOK AI?
- The optional AI sidebar supports Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, and Google Gemini. You bring your own API key (or use a platform-provided allowance, where available). Your keys are stored encrypted and are never shared across accounts.
- Do you store the documents I draft?
- Yes. Each draft is saved to your account so you can return to it, and is stored in an encrypted Postgres database. You can print your completed draft at any time. The Privacy page describes exactly what is stored, where, and for how long.
- How do I bridge to a licensed professional?
- Every Organize playbook ends with a bridge-to-pro section that names what kind of professional is appropriate (estate-planning attorney, CPA, licensed insurance agent, etc.) and what to bring to the first meeting.
